Mixing Prints

Pair 1: Madewell City Storyteller Scarf, Boy. Band of Outsiders Striped Cotton-blend Top, Citizens Avedon Skinnies
Pair 2: Rachel Comey Candela Blouse (dress here), Old Navy Jersey Pencil Skirt, KJL 22k Gold-plated Resin Necklace

I have been looking forward to this post all week!  Probably because it takes far less guts to blog about it than it does to wear it.  I'm learning to treat stripes as a basic backdrop for any print to accompany but the plaid + leopard is something I have yet to try.  With winter comes layers and the perfect opportunity to work this trend into your daily routine.  Are you feeling it or "luving from afar?"

And love these pattern mixing options. I never would have thought of plaid & leopard. Let's see if I'm bold enough to try it.

I love this post and am obsessed with mixing patterns. My favorite is the stripes with the scarf... gorgeous! Of course now I'm wishing that I bought a scarf at Hermes when we were in Paris, (bought a bangle instead...) will be on the lookout for a more affordable version!
