Red Carpet Recap

I'll be honest, I wasn't in love with much to do with last night's red carpet. Very few hit it out of the park, but there were certainly some winners both outside and in. And perhaps our red carpet winners weren't as obvious as Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.
These lovely ladies continued with a trend we've seen throughout this awards season and it's a look that should and likely will stick around. The pop of green is unexpected and truly goes with any color. I'm not sure the neckline of Amy Adams' gorgeous L'Wren Scott gown agrees with her Cartier necklace but the $1,350,000 of emeralds def make a statement. Reese plays it safe but I'm loving her high pony with the b&w color block gown.
Call me boring but I love the neutral yet glam look that wearing gold (or nude) provides. All different but each of these women stun in their glittery ensembles. Gwyneth does no wrong (nor does Calvin Klein) and Mandy Moore shook off the flannel she's been wearing and looked gorgeous in Monique Lhuillier.

Mila may have been my favorite of the night. Her lavendar Elie Saab is beautiful and she looked oh-so-cute presenting with JT. Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning in the red Calvin Klein. I'm not sure it was Oscar-material but it's gorgeous and she certainly had people asking "who is that?" Natalie Portman finally got it right in her beautiful violet Rodarte. She looked radiant from head to toe.

Anne Hathaway must have worn 10 different dresses and wore them all well. Her hosting skills could take some time to mature but her look is beyond perfection!

Hope you enjoyed your Oscar night!
